The 2000 Experience events

Dinghy sailing events and fun family sailing in Chichester Harbour

As a member of our new 2000 Dinghy Sailing Experience you can enjoy a weekly programme of events and social activities.

Once a month we organise a two day ‘Brush up your sailing skills’ course. Boats will be reserved for these courses and the course rate includes your boat hire. Other training is also available - click here to find out more.

All events are optional. If you just want to take a boat for a cruise then that’s fine with us.

On all other Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays we will organise an event of some type. We won’t announce the details until we know the weather forecast a few days beforehand but be assured it will be FUN. As a member you can receive our weekly e-newsletter with details of events otherwise watch the News page here for updates.

Events will include:

  • Short fun races
  • Picnic cruises
  • Harbour tours
  • Crew swap days
  • Race to the Bosham ice cream van
  • Three up family events

For something a bit different, we will be doing speed trials throughout the season - post your time recorded between Camber Post and Itchenor racing buoy for the chance to win a prize at the end of the month
