JUNIOR FORTNIGHT
Junior Fortnight is a two week racing and social event that is a MUST if you are 8 to 18 years old. Great, competitive racing coupled with a hectic social programme make this the teenage (and younger!) sailing and social event of the year!
All Helms must be members (not temporary) of ISC, or members of a Chichester Harbour Club. Classes which may take part are Mirror, Laser, Topper and International 420.
The social events are an integral part of Junior Fortnight. A full programme is planned and details will be advised to all competitors on registration or before.
To take part, every competitor under the age of 18 must supply adults to do enough duties. We must fill over 570 on and off water duties. Adults are requested to do a minimum of two duties (one water based) per competitor-event: e.g. with one competitor doing two events you must do at least four duties (two water based).
The JF committee extend a big thank you in advance for the help, support and enthusiasm of all parents/guardians/supporters, without which the event would not be possible. We appreciate that the event requires significant commitment from supporters as well as competitors.
