ISC PROTESTS
Recent experience has shown that it is necessary to convene and to hear protests on the same day that the protest has been lodged. Any delay adds to the inconvenience to all parties, including the Protest Committee.
Accordingly the Sailing Committee has approved the following policy which will apply to all Protest Committee proceedings henceforth.
”All Protest hearings will take place on the day that the Protest has been lodged, provided that a Committee can be convened for the purpose.
This means that if any person involved as a protagonist, or witness to a Protest leaves the Club premises without the agreement of the Protest Committee Chairman, they run the risk that the protest will be heard in their absence.”
