Spectre and Cockersootie have found that the TackTick depth sensors do not work in their boats despite the best efforts of the TackTick technicians. The Swallow Class Association committee have considered the matter and have granted a dispensation to these boats to fit a through-hull sensor pending a rule change. The following letter comprises the dispensation. The RYA have been informed. Please click here to download the letter

Saturday the new swallow Cockersootie was launched and named by the proud owners. The swallow looked magnificient and her first sail in the morning she was spotted sailing towards the fleet in the sun gliding through the water. When she turned downwind the spinnaker broke out with the sihouette of a Cockersootie.
We wish you every success and many races to win.
