ISC Regatta Day

While the adult sailors had the morning off the Juniors had a busy day starting with the Regatta pursuit race in the morning. We had 23 juniors out and starting from the club line, course cards at the ready they went on a tour of some of the harbour marks. After a hog roast for lunch on the lawn the Transit Committee ran a brilliant afternoon of activities for the younger sailors. Several teams battled it out for prizes at the Scavenger Hunt (which included various bits of sailing kit, a crab and a bunny poo!) and during Paddle-an-Oppie races across to the new jetty. Then some of the children went head-to-head on the Slippery Pole! What a great way to celebrate the Jubilee and make good use of the new Club Jetty.
