    10 July 2019: National Schools Week Event Report

    This summer Itchenor Sailing Club held its ever popular Schools Sailing Week for the 67th consecutive year. The conditions in Chichester Harbour were ideal for the almost 300 competitors in Fevas and Fireflies from across the country. After practice day on Sunday the Feva fleet of over 90 engaged in competition for real on Monday and Tuesday with three races each day. Early to show on Monday were Raulf Berry and Ben Bradley from

  • 12 June 2019: Eleanor Keers selected to represent GBR at the WSYSWC

    Huge congratulations to Eleanor Keers on being selected to represent GBR at the Youth Sailing World Championships in Gyndia, Poland this summer! As some of you may remember Eleanor began sailing a Mirror at Itchenor with her crew Izzy Pugh when they were very young. In 2015, the pair went on to achieve third place at the Mirror Worlds in South Africa. The following year, they gained selection to the RYA Youth Squad

    This Edition's Salty Wisdom Blasting Off! Oh my what a weekend! Saturday was a blowout (though a couple of Fevas ventured out to show us what sport could be had in the F7/8 !) and on Sunday it was harry flatters for those planning to do the OH races. When sufficient oomph did finally appear later on brief IH races were conjured up (with no Swallow participants). Trust

    1 June 2019: Mirror Raid to Dell Quay Report

    18 Mirrors, 40 sailors and 6 support boats set out on the first Saturday of half term for the Max Mirror raid to Dell Quay. We had 3 up, 2 up, some with parents, some with older kids as helpers and some just taking themselves, everyone was excited to be going on an adventure to a part of the harbour we don't normally go and sail to.
