With max speeds reaching 59 knots—outpacing even America's Cup hydrofoils—and 50 boats on the course, DN iceboat racing is the most exhilarating sailing experience out there. Climate change has made finding suitable ice conditions challenging, so for the last 12 winters, David has traveled to Northeast Europe, Scandinavia, and even Siberias Lake Baikal in search of perfect ice. Quite a contrast from his usual XOD sailing at Itchenor!
