Int 14 Perry Pot Series Finale
On a typically grey December day with wind ranging from 8-15 knots, the 14 fleet had the harbour to themselves for the final racing of the Perry Pot series. The wind was a west south westerly which made for three great races for the 6 boats, with some returning faces from far afield and close to home; Neale Jones (previous POW and Europeans winner) taking the place of Martin Jones

i14 Perry Pot 1 at Itchenor SC
Sunday was a classic Perry Pot weekend to start off the series. Clear weather with the air temperature starting to drop for the year, the water having not dropped off quite yet but more importantly the breeze was 13-17 knots perfect twin wire conditions. Radio Controlled Yachts - First Event @ ISC!
Fifteen Radio Controlled Yachts showed up for our first test event, including visitors from Emsworth and Chichester Yacht Club. There were fifty plus people there including operators and onlookers, some of whom took the helm for a few races. We bookended the event with coffees, bacon baps, drinks at the bar and Sunday lunch for some. Great fun for all. Click here to see a short video of the action:

Int14 Firecracker @ ISC
A weekend dominated by variable, mostly light winds and Easterlies in generally warm gloomy conditions. Ed FitzGerald and Glen Truswell were not really challenged for 4 strong first places. The race was on for the lesser metals. It was marginal 2 wire conditions throughout the weekend. Rowing Newsflash - YOUR CLUB NEEDS YOU!
We are delighted that the 3 Harbours Head of the Harbour Rowing Event is to be hosted by ISC this year on 23 November. This is an annual event celebrating coastal rowing across Chichester, Langstone and Portsmouth Harbours. It also attracts crews from considerably further afield. International 14 Autumn Pint at Itchenor SC
