Talk & Supper - "Robo" John Roberson - sailing journalist - please do a Lateral Flow test before coming to the club

To quote Robo himself "Writing the introduction to John Herbert's history of London Corinthian Sailing Club, Tom Trevelyan said of me, "Robo is John Roberson. Today, to the amazement of his many friends he is a respected yachting journalist in Australia, but in the early 1970s he was something of a maverick, although a very good dinghy sailor".

Well, I have certainly had a lot of fun travelling the world to photograph and write about sailing and boating, everything from Optimists to superyachts. Being the Reuters sailing correspondent was a huge opportunity to go to all the best events including Olympics, Americas Cups and the Whitbread/Volvo Round the World Race.  I've met some wonderful people and been to some fascinating places."
