The PropSail Sailing Regatta

Laura Hantrais, studying Mechanical and Engineering at Exeter University and Jason Antill who has recently re-joined the club in the Sunbeam fleet, entered The PropSail Sailing Regatta hosted at The Royal London Yacht Club, Cowes. It was a very competitive fleet of property professionals with a mixture of weather conditions with a spring tide in the Solent.
The regatta was split into two classes of boats provided by the Royal Thames Yacht Club and Island Yacht Club. Laura helmed and raced in the Sonar fleet and came 2nd with only 2 net points of the winner and Jason helmed J-70 and came 1st in class overall. Thousands of pounds was also raised for the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust which inspires young people aged 8-24 to believe in a brighter future living through and beyond cancer through sailing.
