Vote for Itchenors own nominated for Sailor of the Year!

Published 14:57 on 10 Oct 2025

We are thrilled to share that Itchenor Members John TremlettFraser Graham and Tim Copsey, have been nominated for Sailor of the Year at the British Yachting Awards 2025!

Their nomination celebrates an exceptional year on the water:

The team, of John Tremlett helming with Fraser Graham and Tim Copsey, won last years XOD title at Cowes Week this year they had the added satisfaction of winning not just White Group, but the whole event a big achievement for a small boat.

This award recognises the best overall sailor professional or amateur for standout performance during the year, and we couldn't be prouder to see Itchenor represented.

You can show your support by casting your vote HERE.

Voting closes at 23:59 on 24 October 2025, so don't miss your chance to get behind our team!

A Note from Member James Birkett

While voting, Member James Birkett wanted to share a remarkable story about another nominee, Craig Wood (Outstanding Achievement nominee), whom he and several fellow Members met while sailing in the Peloponnese.

Craig, a triple amputee following an IED explosion in Afghanistan at age 18, discovered sailing during his rehabilitation and has since completed a solo crossing of the Pacific. His determination and spirit deeply inspired those who met him.

You can watch a short Sky News feature about Craigs journey here: Watch the video on YouTube

If when voting you could click against Craig it would be a vote well spent.
